A Senior Researcher working under the ERA-Chair Team. He received the Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2003, the M.Sc. degree in Systems Engineering and Management and the Ph.D. degree in Production Engineering and Management from the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, in 2005 and 2010, respectively. His research interests have evolved after his Ph.D. work to include smart networks, intelligent energy systems, energy efficiency on buildings, energy/transport modelling, electro-mobility, integration of electric vehicles (EVs) with energy management systems at building level, as well as wider-scale deployment of EVs at regional or national level. He has also been an Adjunct Lecturer at Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, a Visiting Researcher at Systems Analysis Division, DTU Management Engineering, Technical University of Denmark, Denmark, and a Postdoctoral Researcher/ Research Associate in DeustoTech Energy at University of Deusto, Spain. He has participated in several national and European research projects and has worked closely with public administration organisations, academic/research institutions, SMEs and industrial partners.
